Time for some new

We were in need of some new "Professional" photos of the girls. So we packed them up and took them on a hunt to find a good spot to shoot them. Oh boy did we find the spot! We found a gorgeous lake up in the mountains and got a few great shots. one of my favorites

Rainy Veterans Day

Today is Veterans Day and my all time favorite Vet is down in Georgia working. It's dark and raining today so I'm trying to fill boredom with practicing some editing techniques. Both girls have been pretty content playing today which is a nice for me. There have been multiple quarrels between them but I'm really pushing them to work through it on their own. Here is what I have been working on today. In this photo is my beautiful daughter Kayla. It's not the greatest portrait of her ever but it was fun to play around with.

Also, yesterday I went to Wilmington again with some girlfriends. We made one last trip to Triple Coupon Event at Harris Teeter. It was a lot of fun and we got some amazing deals.
I spent out of pocket- $12.65

Gotta love the Marine Corps

We found out last week that Andy was slated to go to Albany, Georgia for a couple of weeks. Yesterday he finally found out he is leaving bright and early Sunday morning and wont be home till the 19th. That leaves me alone again for almost two weeks. Which also leaves me in charge of getting us completely prepared to jump on the road and head to Missouri for Thanksgiving. I'm not happy about this at all. I just got him home from Iraq and already had to deal with not getting to see much of him while he was at the rife range.

On a happier note yesterday I went to Wilmington with two of my wonderful friends and we went coupon shopping at Target and Harris Teeter. Harris Teeter is putting on a triple coupon event where they triple coupons up to .99 face value. Usually the highest value coupon I have is a .75 which means I can get $2.25 off an item instead of .75. At Harris Teeter I spent 12.62 and saved 121.17. We will be going back for another Harris Teeter trip either on Monday or Tuesday. Then at Target I didn't get much but I saved 18.09 and only spent 1.79 out of pocket. It's so nice to be able to do some therapy shopping without spending a ton of money. Here are some pictures of my goods.

Welcome

I decided to finally start a blog. I think this will be a good place for me to share some of my work and thoughts. When we move to CA I have decided I'm going to get back in to Photography and learning as much as I can. I plan on focusing more on Scenery and less on Portrait. Keep coming to check out my blog there will be lots of changes soon as I get more time to work on my own layout. Since you stopped by I will share a photo I took of the Freeman Family before Brian left for Afghanistan. Many Prayers to him and his Family.
